Architectural Carving Woodcarving has been employed throughout civilisation to adorn our architecture, enriching our most precious buildings with superbly crafted decoration to create the architectural heritage that we value so greatly today. The tradition continues both in the preservation of the past, and by carrying these rare skills forward to the present day. This workshop has extensive experience in the restoration and refurbishment of historic buildings, and in modern developments where the sumptuous effect of architectural woodcarving is  desired.We are well versed in the architectural styles of most historic periods, with an intuitive understanding of the particular nuances of each individual style, this being of particular importance when producing work in sensitive situations. Where woodcarving is placed in a historic setting, the importance of the building demands that additional carvings are in complete sympathy with their surroundings. We have been commissioned on many prestigious developments, producing the carved architectural elements such as corbels, column capitals and classical motifs necessary for the completion of specialist projects. We liaise with architects, manufacturers and interior designers, along with discerning private clients, to bring projects to a successful conclusion through dialogue and dedication.
